The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios has a Wizarding World Butterbeer Ice Cream. This is a delicious treat to try while visiting this amazing area of the theme park. The butterbeer ice cream is fantastic alone or you can swirl butterscotch topping into it. It is also a key ingredient in my Frozen Butterbeer, which I cannot recommend enough!
- 2 cups low-fat milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 tbsp. butter extract
- 1/2 tbsp. vanilla extract
- In a medium mixing bowl, use a hand mixer on low speed to combine the milk and sugars until the sugars are dissolved, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla and butter extracts.
- Pour the mixture into freezer bowl, turn the machine on and let mix until thickened, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Transfer to freezer safe bowl. Put in freezer for about 2 hours.
- Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before serving.
