Tropical Fruit Dip

This month on the Monday Movie Challenge we are taking inspiration from our Dad’s favorite movie. One of my dad’s favorite movies is Donovan’s Reef. There is not a lot of actual prepared food in the movie but there are items mentioned or alluded to such as lunch or a picnic or tea. Donovan owns the local bar, so there is a lot of beer. Given the tropical setting and the tropical fruit shown throughout the movie, I decided to make a Tropical Fruit Dip.

This month’s challenge was. . . . Fathers! Your Dad’s Favorite Film, or just a movie about fatherhood!Everyone was allowed to choose their own favorite film so long as it was inspired by the challenge word.

  1. My mom loves John Wayne but I’ve only ever seen The Quiet Man (Which I love!!). I think I might want to check this one out! Love the fruit sip and the great pineapple serving bowl!

  2. That looks delicious! I make a fruit platter each year for our family’s 4th of July party and I try to make a new dip to go with it each year. This sounds amazing. Thanks so much for sharing at the Summer Time Fun Party. Pinned.
