Dark Mark Skull Cakes are inspired by the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter event Dark Arts food offerings. This would be a perfect treat for Halloween or any Harry Potter party.

These cakes are a spice cakelet. To turn them into the dark mark, I found gummy snakes and twisted them into the shape of the serpent that comes out of the skull when the dark mark is made by casting the spell ‘Morsmordre’.

#BundtBakers is a group of Bundt loving bakers who get together once a month to bake Bundts with a common ingredient or theme. You can see all our lovely Bundts by following our Pinterest board. We take turns hosting each month and choosing the theme/ingredient.

This month Simply Inspired Meals (me) is am hosting Spooky Bundt Cakes. I asked the group to make any cake that had some element that made it spooky. This could mean it is dripping in blood icing or covered in spider webs, or who knows! I can’t wait to see the creativity of what the group comes up with this month.

This wonderful group is administered by Stacy of Food Lust People Love.  Updated links for all of our past events and more information about #BundtBakers, can be found on our  home page.
