While there is no fruit salad on on the menu at Disneyland’s Bengal Barbecue, when planning my menu it felt as thought a tropical fruit dish would fit right in. We really enjoy fruit salad during the hot summer months and adding some of the more exotic fruits makes this a real treat and it matches well with the rest of the meal. This Jungle Cruise Fruit Salad is a wonderful mixture of tropical fruits. The addition of the shredded coconut on top gave it some extra sweetness and a little crunch which we really loved. We used golden kiwi which were delicious, but green kiwi also works. I also think the addition of star fruit would compliment the tastes of the fruit well.
