Healthy Chocolate and Fruit Pudding

Healthy Chocolate and Fruit Pudding

#Choctoberfest is a sponsored event. Barlean’s is sponsoring today’s post. In exchange for sharing this recipe for Healthy Chocolate and Fruit Pudding, I received a bottle of their Chocolate Silk Greens Powder. All thoughts, ideas, recipes, pictures, and opinions contained within this post are solely my own and not necessarily that of the sponsor.

A friend of mine introduced me to the idea of a healthy pudding years ago. She used fruits and avocados and spices to mix together a pudding that is in fact very good for you. When I received the Chocolate Silk Green Powder from Barlean’s, I immediately thought how great it would be in this dish and the result is Healthy Chocolate and Fruit Pudding. I decided to give it a Halloween flair by pureeing a banana and using that to pipe a spider web on top.

The dish is very easy to bring together. I combined all ingredients in a food processor and processed until combined. You can adjust the chocolate powder, cinnamon and honey to adapt the taste to your liking.

I have never used Barlean’s products before and I have found that I really like this product. I am not great at eating my greens and I love how I can easily add this to smoothies or even just a glass of milk and gain the health benefits. The taste isn’t exactly like chocolate but it’s very good and easy to combine with other flavors.
