Welcome Foolish Mortals!
I absolutely love Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction so when brainstorming this years Halloween theme, so I decided to create a Haunted Mansion Dinner Party and Menu. I’ve had a great time coming up with a set of recipes that would be fitting within the Haunted Mansion dining room to celebrate Death Day with all the 999 Happy Haunts. I drew inspiration from both the ride and the movie, which has a dining room scene with a lot of dark fruits and cobwebs. With the decor, food and music, it makes me smile as it brings back my memories of being at Disneyland on the ride. I hope you will have as much fun throwing your Haunted Mansion Dinner as I have had pulling it together.

Haunted Mansion Crafts and DIY
I was not able to find a spider web tablecloth to cover my black tablecloth as my table is quite large. I decided to go to Joann’s Crafts and I found a great fabric available. The width was perfect right off the bolt and I just had them cut the length to fit my table. I didn’t even need to sew a hem for it, just laid it over my tablecloth. It’s perfect and washable, which I love!
There are so many ideas I’d like to incorporate into my Haunted Mansion dining room, but I guess that will have to wait until next year. 🙂
Haunted Mansion Shopping List
In order to make it as easy as possible to pull together the Haunted Mansion Dinner Party, I wanted to include some links to items I used in my dining room. Not all the items below match what I have exactly and I may not have actually used these products. While I try to always recommend things I have used in this case it isn’t possible. I have included items below that if I were shopping today I would personally order.
I have been collecting many of the items I used over the years. You likely have things around your house as well and I encourage you to think creatively when pulling together your table. My candlesticks are from Southern Living at Home, and they are no longer in business. My witch lantern is from Hallmark, many, many years ago. I got my black battery operated candles from Pier 1, although I really love the candleabras I found below.
