Christmas Snack Mix Recipe

Christmas Snack Mix
A sweet holiday snack mix using cereal, marshmallows, pretzels and M&Ms with candy coating and holiday sprinkles.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
- 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup mini pretzel twists
- 1 cup holiday colored M&M candies
- 1/3 cup white chocolate melting discs
- 1/3 cup red candy melts
- 1/3 cup green candy melts
- Holiday colored sprinkles
Instructions
- Use a large non stick cookie sheet to prepare snack mix.
- Pour cereal into the pan and mix around until evenly distributed.
- Next pour the marshmallows evenly over the cereal. Follow with the pretzel and M&Ms, again evenly distributing.
- In a small baggie, microwave the white chocolate for 30 seconds and half power. Using your hand, press the chocolate around in the bag until completely melted. Repeat until the chocolate is completely melted. You may need to reduce time to 10 second intervals to keep the chocolate from burning.
- Cut a small hole in the corner of the baggie. Pipe the melted chocolate over the snack mix. Sprinkle some holiday sprinkles on top.
- Repeat with the red and green candy melts and the remaining holiday sprinkles. Let cool completely.
- Break up the snack mix and put into a large bowl. Serve and enjoy!

I used to make a spicy version of snack mix every year but never a sweet version like this. They sound dangerously decadent and addictive and look so festive too. I’m intrigued!
