Bengal Barbecue inspired Jungle Julep

Recently Disneyland has introduced a new beverage at the Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland called the Jungle Julep. It is described as a tropical slush with a mixture of grape, orange, pineapple and lemon on the menu. From what I have read, it is similar to a fruit punch but blended with ice. It is a pretty purple color in the pictures I’ve seen. It sounds delicious and a bit different from the typical pineapple based tropical drinks. I decided to whip up a recipe and everyone that has tried this has state “boy, that is good”. It is sweet and sour and will make you pucker over time. This has been a fun drink that has been requested multiple times within my household. It’s definitely a keeper.

Disneyland Bengal Barbecue inspired tropical frozen fruit punch

Ingredients

  • ½ can of frozen white grape juice
  • 1 cup purple grape juice
  • 1 cups orange juice
  • 1 cups lemonade
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 to 2 cups Ice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until fully combined.
  2. Serve immediately with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass and with a paper umbrella.
