When we traveled to Florida, we were able to get breakfast reservations at Be Our Guest. I was excited to eat in this restaurant as we do not have anything like it at the Disneyland Resort in California. We were not disappointed as the restaurant was beautifully decorated and had fun menu items. In addition, our reservation was before the park opened so we were able to walk through a relatively empty park to start our day. This was a treat! One of the menu items I find myself looking for when I travel is a good assorted meat and cheese board.
I love to experiment with the local meats, cheese and fruits. This is a meal that is also nice with a local glass of wine. Since this was breakfast, I opted for tea which was perfect. Per the menu, my breakfast included “Alpine-smoked Ham, Serrano Ham, Sopressata, and Cheese with Marmalade, Fresh Fruit, Toasted Baguette, and a selection of pastries”. The cheese I received was Brie and the entire meal was yummy and filling.
For our interpretation, we selected cheeses our family loves as well as meats available to us here. I encourage you to experiment and try things you wouldn’t normally. Most deli counters will let you sample meats and cheeses before you buy them so you can get a little adventurous.
